Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains how Graham Joyce trading as T.ǓR (ABN 88 389 759 859) handles personal information. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

T.ǓR is a small consultancy. We collect very little information, we collect it only when you choose to give it to us, and we do not sell it to anyone.

What we collect

We collect personal information in two circumstances.

When you contact us. If you complete the enquiry form on this site or email us directly, we collect the name, email address, and message content you provide. You choose what to include; there is no requirement to give us anything beyond a way to reply.

When you visit this site. Our hosting provider records standard technical information automatically, including IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of the request. This is ordinary server logging, used to keep the site running and secure.

If you accept the cookie banner shown on this site, we also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Nothing from Google Analytics loads, and nothing is tracked through it, unless you actively accept — if you decline, only the ordinary server logging described above takes place.

Why we collect it

Enquiry information is used for one purpose: to respond to you and, if it goes further, to discuss and carry out consultancy work. We do not add enquiries to a marketing list without your express consent, and we do not use your information to make automated decisions about you.

Third parties who handle your information

Three external services are involved in running this site, and all three may receive information:

Aside from these service providers, we do not disclose your personal information to anyone unless you ask us to, or unless we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as they are commercially relevant — ongoing conversations, active engagements, and records we are required to retain for tax or legal reasons. Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted once they are clearly no longer live. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, ask and we will do it.

Keeping it secure

This site is served over HTTPS, so information submitted through it is encrypted in transit. Enquiries are held in a password-protected email account. No system is perfectly secure, but the amount of information we hold is deliberately small, which is itself a protection.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Email yes@thisistur.com and we will respond within a reasonable period, ordinarily within 30 days. There is no charge for this.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first at yes@thisistur.com and we will try to resolve it directly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au, or by phone on 1300 363 992.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with an updated date at the top.
